How many weddings have you photographed?
I’ve been in the industry since 2007 when I began assisting a wedding photographer in Raleigh, NC. Fun fact- around that time DSLR cameras were just becoming popular! I’ve seen a lot of change since then! I used my knowledge of off camera flash and lighting techniques I leaned while assisting into my own business when I decided to go from 2nd shooting to running my own company. I can’t say for sure how many weddings I’ve photographed but rest assured I have plenty of experience in all types of venues to serve you well!

As of 2023 I have made the upgrade to Sony mirrorless! I have 4 full sets of gear and you’ll notice I always have both cameras on me during the wedding day! All of my cameras have 2 SD card slots that instantly ensure your images are backed up. If you nerd out on camera gear let me know and I’ll be happy to send you the entire list of my gear!
Yes I do! There are many venues that require photographers have their own insurance. If your venue has this requirement I will be happy to send them a copy.
In short YES! Your photos are backed up in camera as discussed above on the 2nd SD card. This is only the start of how I back up my images. I have all of the images stored in 3 places b/c I know how vitally important your wedding images are to you! We can’t go back and recreate the day and this is why I take this step so seriously.
I sure do! Many photographers are comfortable in “natural light” which is great. Where things can get tricky is reception lighting which tends to be dimmed. I used multiple off camera lighting techniques in these situations to ensure you have clear, focused and stunning images regardless of the lighting situation.
In order to secure your wedding date a 50% retainer is required at booking. The 2nd half isn’t due until your wedding date. For all other portrait sessions the full amount is due upon booking. Payment is accepted by credit card, PayPal or Venmo.
Yes! I’m lucky to have connections with several companies that produce beautiful fine art albums. I can also assist you with the design of your wedding album! Once you place the order the album production takes about 1 month to complete and ship.
